While we were away, the crew finished the concrete walls, waterproofed the outside and laid gravel and new earth around the perimeter of the garage. It looks good so far! The next step will be to prepare the deck of the garage floor which requires a special technique to support the weight of a car. But the next step no doubt will be delayed by the 12 inches of snow that fell over the weekend...and the additional snow that is predicted later this week. And we could not resist including a picture of Fin in his new buggy -- a doggy trailer so he can keep up with us while biking the paths of Sanibel.
