It was blowing 20 knots and there was a 2 knot current running against us as we pulled into Old Saybrook. Fortunately the dock hands were professionals and guided us in and quickly secured us in our slip.
The tidal swing is so much that the dock is extra high and they are installing a handrail for us to get on and off the boat.
There's no way Fin would be able to manage getting on and off the dock - fortunately he is enjoying summer camp at Memere's house.
