Mile 740: our First Stop in Maine

The first stop most people make in Maine is down to the coast for a fresh lobster.  Our first stop happened to be the Sprinter dealer in Scarborough.  The initial diagnosis of our engine light/reduced acceleration problem is due to a recalled part.  Such parts are supposed to be under warranty but since Daimler Chrysler split up the Dodge and Mercedes folks can't agree on who should service the customer.  So we'll likely have to take care of the issue ourselves so we can get on our merry way to Freeport.  In any event Fin is oblivious and is enjoying rolling around in front of the dealership.  Fortunately the temperature is comfortable and there is a nice breeze -- we are very happy to have escaped the heat and humidity of the Northern Neck.

Tonight we have plans to rendezvous with Amy (an old friend from Stephanie's AmEx/New York days) and her husband Tobey who live in Freeport.
