A Week on Sanibel

We arrived on January 29^th for a week stay on Sanibel to visit Stephanie’s mom.  As an extra plus brother Roger Louis (fondly known as Cousin Earl) was visiting as well.  The weather was picture perfect.  We bicycled the island including a trip through the Ding Darling sanctuary.  We caught up with Chantal and Yves, friends from Bordeaux who visit Sanibel each year.  The guys played golf while Chantal and Stephanie got their exercise on the tennis court.  Fin loved visiting his grandmother Memere who spoils him with mini loaves of French bread each morning.

We also treated Cousin Earl and Big Mama to an RV experience.  We set up MerSea 2 along the Causeway beach to watch the sunset, grilled steaks and enjoyed the evening breeze.
