High Tide on Sunday October 4th

It has been a very rainy few days and this afternoon's high tide peaked with exceptionally high water levels.  The water at our house was well over the dock, but this picture below really shows how high the water rose.  This is our little sailing club, RRYC, with water up to the wall of the swimming pool and then almost across the entire parking lot.  As you can see...it is closed for business!  The water was at the joists and inches from entering the building.  Let's hope Hurricane Joaquin stays off shore and does not make the situation worse.
