C&D Canal

After pulling into the Bohemia Rv we decided to continue northward.  The anchorage was wide open with little protection and with the heat and projected storm  we qucikly decided to head to Summit North Marina on the eastern end of the canal.  The current was with us which made for a top speed of 9.3 knots.  Had a refreshing swim in the pool and grilled burgers for dinner.  Now we  are looking forward to catching up on our sleep after our overnight sail up the bay.  If the storm passes through tonight we will leave mid morning for Cape May.

  1. It's great to learn that you've had good wind, both inside and out thanks to the weather gods and electric at the dock. I hope you continue to enjoy the same on your way out of the hot south.
