Wouldn't you know it...the fog lifted about an hour after making our decision to stay in Cape May a third night. But it was too late to get underway and arrive in NYC at a reasonable time. So this morning we left CM with barely any wind. MerSea's motor is hummimg at 6.5 knots.
The water is beautiful and surprisingly clean. There is a slight breeze so it feels cool when under the biminy. Dolphins swim by from time to time.
This was the part of the trip we were most apprehensive about but so far it has been the easiest part. Let's hope it stays that way!
