Better Safe than Sorry

Given that we are two days ahead of schedule, there's no need to press our luck. The decision was made to stay a third day in Cape May. As we waited for the fog to lift, we heard all sorts of uncomfortable stories. The fellow in the slip next door ventured out but came back after two hours...he said it was "scary" as there were crazy boats going at break neck speed through the fog. He returned to port. Then there was a collision between a sailboat and another boat 30 miles up the coast. The two boats collided in the fog and the second boat disappeared after the collision. Needless to say we aren't going to take any unnecessary chances.

So here we are at Utsch's Marina...hoping the fog will lift by the morning...and hoping that Bret maintains its course and moves out to sea.
