Help Us Find a Home for Freddie

Do you know anyone who might be looking to adopt a dog?  Freddie is looking for a good home.  We was found roaming Irvington/Weems for about a month and we suspect he is an abandoned hunting dog.  The Animal Welfare League has taken him in and Lance and I are his foster parents until he finds a permanent home.  If we did not have ambitious travel plans, we would be inclined to adopt him, but it’s hard enough traveling with the big black hippopotamus Fin.  

Here’s Freddie’s resume:

·         Very gentle and sweet temperament

·         House trained

·         Good on a leash

·         Weighs under 40 lbs

·         Gets along well with other dogs

·         Estimating his age to be ~ 1 year but could be 2-3

·         High energy and likes to chase rabbits (read…needs fenced in yard!)

·         Vaccinated for rabies and his heartworm negative

·         Likes to bite your ankles when you first wake up in the morning until you give him tummy rubs
