Today's journey was a 13 mile motor across the James River to the Elizabeth River that separates Norfolk and Portsmouth. The conditions were threatening high winds so the fleet opted to stay at the Tidewater Marina rather than anchor off Hospital point. It was a breeze getting into this nice marina and took all of 20 minutes to get all 5 boats docked. That's how it should be!
One of our cruising friends, Frank, has lined up a walking tour of Portsmouth for us this afternoon then we are headed to the movies tonight to see "The Judge".
